Flower Beauty Kiss Stick High Shine Lip Color in Black Rose (Review/Swatches)
One of the top products I wanted to try from Drew Barrymore's Flower beauty line were the lip products. I picked "Black Rose" up because it was still chilly outside, so I was still in the mood for a dark burgundy lip! This shade, despite looking like a cream shade from the bottom swatch, is actually a shimmery color. This is the only con to me, because I was expecting a cream color.Keep in mind that Flower's lipstick packaging is lacking- no where does it say the name of the color or even the product name! Such a bummer- but I'm sure I can remember the name!At first, Black Rose is a bit sheer- you can apply it in one swipe for a "just bitten" berry lip, or build it up for an in your face pout. I typically use it heavily, since I love a bold lip. Thankfully the shimmer isn't too noticeable. As you can see, Black Rose is quite shiny! It does last well on the lips, just make sure to use a lip liner because I did experience a little bit of feathering!Black Rose is neither a hit or a miss for me...I think I'd get along with a different shade a lot more! It's a good lipstick, though, so if you're looking for a lipstick this shade then GO FOR IT!Flower Beauty's Kiss Stick High Shine Lip Color is sold at Walmart for $6.98.
