DHC's New Premium Lipstick GE Review & Swatches

DHC Premium Lipstick GE Swatches Rose Gold Petal Pink First Blush Bold Persimmon Velvety Red Rich Raspberry ReviewDHC has released a new line of lipsticks (Premium GE) that promise satiny color & hydration. These lipsticks are formulated with macadamia, olive, and rice bran oils to moisturize, collagen and sodium hyaluronate to hold hydration, oat kernel extract to minimize the look of lines, and vitamin A and germanium for revitalization.  I don't think I've ever found a lipstick with that many beneficial ingredients! This brand new lipstick comes in 6 colors: Petal Pink, First Blush, Rich Raspberry, Velvety Red, Rose Gold, and Bold Persimmon. Keep on reading to see my swatches and see what I think!DHC Premium Lipstick GE Swatches Rose Gold Petal Pink First Blush Bold Persimmon Velvety Red Rich Raspberry Review (2)All of these shades have a really nice pigmentation that is a bit sheer, without being streaky. DHC says these lipsticks have light-diffusing pearls for a 3-D pluming effect. I personally can't see any visible shimmer or notice any plumping. On the lips, they are very moisturizing and look natural. They have a touch of a satiny sheen, similar to applying a thick layer of lip balm. They feel super comfortable on the lips. I think my favorite shades are Bold Persimmon & Rose Gold. If anything, I'd say I wasn't a fan of Petal Pink, because it's a little too light for my skin tone. First Blush and Rose Gold are perfect for neutral lovers. And if you want a natural version of a red try Velvety Red  or Rich Raspberry!DHC Premium Lipstick GE Swatches Velvety Red First Blush Petal Pink Rich Raspberry Rose Gold Bold PersimmonI think this collection of lipsticks is great for the everyday gal who wants to wear lipstick without being too bold. Personally, I prefer bold lip colors, so these aren't really my type. However, I think the majority of people don't want to be walking around with bright orange lips, I'm just a little different- ha! These lipsticks are available now at DHCcare.com for $19- I find this price to be a bit steep for a natural looking lipstick, but they can be a great option for those with an issue with dry lips. So if hydration is your thing, these are worth the price!Olivia Frescura Blog Signature 2014**This post contains products that I have received for free– for more information, please read my Disclosure Policy**
