Jessica Cosmetics "Glitzy" Effects Collection Review & Swatches

Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effects Collection (Star Spangles, Sparkles, Razzle Dazzle, Sizzle, Glam It Up, Bling It Black) ReviewIn the same surprise package I got with the Jessica Cosmetics Fall Collection I received their new "Glitzy" Effects collection that came out in June! This line is 6 glitter polishes that will be the perfect topping to any polish. I did find that a lot of the colors are similar, which was the only thing that disappointed me...there's a red, blue, a red/silver/blue, a purple (that looks blue), a black/white, and a dark holographic shade. I think they could replace the red and blue with a silver/gold glitter and it would be a much better collection...but that's just my opinion! Anyways, onto the sparkles...Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effects Collection Razzle Dazzle Swatch ReviewRazzle Dazzle is a multi-sized blue glitter with holographic silver bar glitter. This one is fairly sparse, and there isn't much change from 2 coats to 4 coats. This one is a perfect topping to any color of your choice, I personally wouldn't wear it on it's own. I think that would take way too many coats! I think it would look great over shimmery blues and silvers.Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effects Collection Sizzle Swatch ReviewSizzle is a red glitter with multiple sizes. This can be worn over colors, but it has pretty great coverage, so you could try for a full red glitter nail if you want! To cheat that, you can add a shimmery red underneath to blend in with the glitter! I can't imagine when I'd wear under red glitter, but for ladies who love red nail polish and want a subtle change, add some sizzle!Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effects Collection Star Spangles Swatch ReviewStar Spangles is the perfect patriotic glitter! This one is packed with red, silver, and blue glitter that come in multiple sizes. I wish I had this for the 4th of July, but I'll be saving it for next year! This one also has some great coverage with 3-4 coats. A perfect pairing to a red, white, or blue, mani!Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effects Collection Sparkles Swatch ReviewSparkles is the only polish in the line that doesn't have a clear base color. This polish is a deep gray/black base with tons of holographic shimmer- it is packed with small glitter, but it has the occasional large glitter. This one is very unique, but I think I'd layer it over black or other dark colors and see what happens! The finish is ultra-shiny, I'd classify this one as a jelly.Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effects Collection Glam It Up Swatch ReviewGlam It Up is a violet glitter specked with silver. If I didn't read in the press release that it was purple, I would have guessed it was blue. It's VERY cool toned. I wish this purple was more of a vibrant shade, because I think it blends in with the other blue glitter too much, instead of being a truly unique shade. This one has nice coverage for a "bling finger" to compliment any purple manicure.Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effects Collection Bling It Black Swatch ReviewAnd saving the best for last, Bling It Black is by far my favorite. This one has black glitter, which has been very trendy in the past few months. Instead of having white glitter, it has iridescent silver/white glitter that catches the sunlight. I've already worn this one over another polish, but I was waiting to post it until I posted this review. I adore this polish, it's definitely a must have for me!Overall, this collection is a must if you are a glitter gal. Pick up Bling It Black, because chances are, you have nothing like it! You can find Jessica Nail Polish online for $8.40 a bottle, but I can't find this collection up yet, even though it was released in June. Bummer! Keep your eyes peeled!Olivia Frescura Blog Signature**This post contains products that I have received for free– for more information, please read my Disclosure Policy**
