Glossier Coconut Balm Dotcom Review + Save 20%!

Some exciting news that I've yet to share on the blog is that I'm now a Glossier Rep. This means I can get access to some of their products to review, but also, you can shop through my link to save 20% on your first order. I thought I'd start off this partnership by trying some of the products I want the most. At the top of my list, was the Flavored Balm Dotcom in Coconut. This universal skin salve is meant for lips, cuticles, and any other rough spots that need some hydration. Upon receiving this I found that the first ingredient is petrolatum (or, mineral oil), so I can't use this on my lips as my lips are sensitive to it. That bummed me out, but I recently had a reaction to a product I'd used on my elbows, and had itchy, dry, excema on both elbows. I was treating it with oil, but this thick salve stays on better, and helped clear it up within a few days.I will say, I was sorely disappointed with the coconut scent. I had wanted it to smell like a piΓ±a colada-esque coconut, but it resembles coconut oil (which I'm not a fan of). It smells more like buttered popcorn to me than coconut. My sister has the rose scented one and loves it, so I'd recommend sticking with that, or unscented if you're using it on your body. I still like it though, because it's orange- my favorite color. I'm easy to please. πŸ™‚The $12 tube will last you a long time, since it is so thick- a little goes a long way. I'm already thinking about what Glossier products I should try next...what do you think?
