Ginger Shots

If you follow me on instagram, you know I love a good juice. Although I can't really picture myself doing a full cleanse, every once in a while I love to go buy a juice, with one stipulation: that it has ginger in it. I love the burn that ginger has, and it has a lot of health benefits, and I always have been pro health, watching out what I eat and taking supplements like maeng da kratom. It's anti-inflammatory, helps nausea, and  can help with symptoms of the common cold & even periods. Since I started my weight loss journey, I've had juice occasionally but know that wasting 200+ calories (plus all the sugar) on a beverage isn't the best thing I should do. So, while I was at the Natural Products Expo and saw Ginger Shots on the lineup, I knew it would be something great for me to try!Ginger Shots are organic ginger & fruit juice combined into one little shot. Just like shots from juice stores, these are potent & pack a lot of flavor in the 2.4oz shot. They sent over a sampler pack of all of their flavors, which are all described below. The shots to me, seem like they are 50% fruit juice and 50% ginger juice, as compared to a large 16 oz juice that will mostly be a fruit juice with a touch of ginger. The good thing about Ginger Shots, is that they don't have many calories at all, so you can enjoy the flavor of the juice without sabotaging your diet. They all have 40 calories or less! Now we're talking.I've been sipping these throughout the week and my favorites are the lemon ginger, apple ginger, and pineapple ginger. These ones seem to work the best with the ginger, in my opinion. The lemon one is super strong since it's lemon juice, but I kinda love it. I could have one of these every day, honestly, and that's what I've been doing. They add a nice start to my day without giving me a sugar rush. If you're a ginger fan like I am, you have to try these. They're available online at $24 a 6-pack, with free shipping when you buy 2. But, if you're in LA like me- find them at your nearest Whole Foods!**This post contains products that I have received for free-for more information, please read my Disclosure Policy**
